AI Dad Hacks (Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bot)
As someone who spends their days geeking out about automation, discovering how AI can level up my parenting game has been like finding out your favorite superhero also makes amazing chocolate chip blondies (it’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a freezer of dough that rises better).
So I did what any self-respecting marketing nerd would do - I started experimenting.
And then, because apparently I can’t help myself when it comes to sharing AI hacks, I created a video series about it on LinkedIn.
Because while everyone’s busy posting about AI revolutionizing work (which, yeah, it is), I figured someone needed to show how it's revolutionizing bedtime too .
Let’s dive in.
The Favorite Character Education (Video #5)
Published December, 2024
Get your kids' favorite book characters to teach them history, math or just listen to them about their day. Super easy idea that can be incredibly fun.
The Ultimate Parent Productivity Pack (Video #4)
Published December, 2024
Three hacks that’ll make you feel like you’ve unlocked parenting cheat codes:
- The Emoji 📅 Translator - Turn schedules that elude one year olds into emoji masterpieces that even toddlers can read (because who doesn’t want to know that 🛁 comes before 📚?)
- The Bedtime Factifier at Bedtime - A nightly routine that makes you sound like a walking encyclopedia (time for some bedtime narwhals, baby!)
- The Homework Appifier - Use Claude to build interactive homework helpers for spelling, math, oranything else, faster than you can say “but why do we need to learn long division?”
The Time-Traveling Artist Bundle (Video #3)
November, 2024
Another three-in-one special featuring:
- The Worksheet - easy way to generate very, very (very) custom worksheets for your kids to exercise that homework muscle.
- Time Travel Chats - Let your kids interview children from ancient Egypt or the year 2150 (Warning: May result in some very interesting dinner conversations)
- The Coloring Page Generator - Create custom coloring pages of literally anything. Yes, even that impossible-to-find dinosaur-riding-a-rocket-ship your kid desperately needs to color RIGHT NOW.
The “Never Miss Another School Event” Survival Guide (Video #2)
October, 2024
Because nothing says “I’m totally on top of this parenting thing” like actually remembering school events. Yes, be that parent. You know you want to. Learn how to turn that impossible-to-read annual PDF into one-click importable Google Calendars. CSVs meet PTAs FTW.
Car Storytime Magic (Video #1)
September, 2024
The epic post that kicked it all off.
Transform boring car rides into interactive storytelling adventures, made for your kids specifically. No more “are we there yet?” - just “but what happens next?!” Includes my totally-not-overcomplicated system for generating stories that actually respond to your kids' plot suggestions.

Pro tip: If you’re reading this and thinking “this guy is way too excited about using AI for parenting tasks,” just wait until I tell you about my spreadsheet for optimizing weekly meal plans. (Just kidding. Kind of. Okay, it exists, but we don’t talk about it. And no, I’m not going to post about it on LinkedIn. Some things are better left in the dark corners of my Google Drive.)
